YAHOO!

Many know that I have 'given up' soda over the past 3 weeks. I decided the crap in Diet just isn't worth switching, so I just said GOODBYE! I was a DIE HARD Dr. Pepper drinker and then went to Diet Dr. Pepper but kept lurking back to the regular. Not good.
Well, after 3 days of massive headaches and being sooo tired - I'm over the hump of crap on my way to a healthier me!
I also started walking (4 miles) again (stopped with the holidays and colder weather) every day and doing the not-so-famous Body Flex from LAURIE - thank you for introducing it to me!! I started FORCING myself to eat a little breakfast which consists of a yogurt, bottle of water and Fiber One choc. chip bar.
AND . . . drumroll please . . . I've LOST 11 POUNDS IN 3 WEEKS!! YAHOO!!!!

I'm on a roll now and I'm working towards more!!

Way to go!! I was a die hard Dr. Pepper drinker as well. Never really tried going to diet, only because I figured it was the caffeine that was the worst part for me and if I was going to drink something that was not good for me, I was gonna have the REAL thing!! Anyway, I've giving it up also. I went about 2 weeks without and figured yesterday that I'd done pretty good and since the place I went for lunch didn't have lemonade, I could splurge! Of course sonic only had "light" lemonade today and that stuff tastes terrible, so I went with a DP again! UGH!! Well, now that I've read that someone else can do it, I think I'm going to jump right back on that wagon and maybe just do WATER ONLY! Congrats on the weight loss! I am very envious! What is the body flex? Maybe I need to try that out.

AHHHHH! That is so awesome, congratulations...you are the WOMAN!!!! I am way impressed with your ability to throw out the soda...I had totally gotten off soda when I was prego with Bella...but alas, I have drifted back to the dark side of the drink. You give me motivation and hope that I can conquer this habit again!

Good for you Jenn! I just don't buy it...we usually will get a pop when we go out to eat or to a movie but if I don't even buy it then it's not a temptation in our house...otherwise, Christopher will drink one with every meal and we can go through a 12 pack over a weekend!
It's just best not to even have it hanging around...
So if you come to my house my only drink options are water!

Wow! That is wonderful. I think in the last 3 weeks I have had more Dr Pepper than ever. Maybe I have been drinking your share too.

Any one that can give up soda is amazing! Congrats on the weight loss!

Here's a thought! Maybe we can somewhere on our own blogs or start a support blog that would help all of us trying to lose wieght can have as an acountabilty in helping us reach all our goals!
