Body Flex

I've had a lot of people ask about Body Flex. Click HERE to read about it. I only do the Toning Exercises. They have now added a lot more to it apparently. I just like that it's quick (about 20-25 min.) and I can SEE results in SIZE - not just weight!!
They describe what I do as this: BodyFlex breathing is a specific kind of deep breathing exercise combined with isotonic (equal tension) and isometric (equal measurements) stretching positions.
I have done it for 3 weeks continuously now and I have notice my pants go down in 1 full size already!! I combine this with my walking and forcing down a breakfast and LOTS of water. Sometimes I feel like I am floating away but other times it doesn't bother me at all to drink what I do. You'd think in AZ, that we would drink more or 'desire' more water but can't say that I do. It's been taxing at times, but if I drink what is necessary - I feel a difference.

Good luck and if you are close and want to walk with me - let me know!! If I can do it - YOU can do it!!

Body Flex is great! I know it gets a lot of flack as being "fake". But it works! When Joey was about a year old I still had a lot of baby-weight. I lost a ton of weight and inches doing only Body Flex. Keep it up Jenn- congrats on the weight loss!!

I may have to get that! I do actually have a workout video that is mostly resistance type of stuff and I have noticed when I do that for a couple weeks that there's a difference in how I feel and how my clothes fit. Maybe I should just pull that back out.

I remember when Laurie taught Body Flex to us! I did it for a while. I might need to start that again. Congrats on your success!!

I used paper mache letters rather than wood letters. You can get them at Joann's for $2.99 per letter or Hobby Lobby for $1.99 per. The style of lettering is a bit different between the 2 stores. Here's what you do...

Trace the letters onto the backs of the paper.

Paint your letters.

Once dry, use mod podge to paste the paper cutout to the paper mache letter.

Let it sit for a few minutes then go over the entire letter including the top of the paper w/mod podge to seal it.

Once it's all dry you can embellish however you like.

It's fairly simple but somewhat time consuming. You gotta put a couple layers of paint. You don't have to paint the entire front side, since you will be putting paper over it, but I usually paint around the edges, that way if my paper gets trimmed a little too much, atleast you don't see the brown paper mache through.

My sil actually bought USA to do, so I may go that route also, or I may just do the blocks for freedom, who knows...fortunately I have a couple months to really figure it out.

Good luck if you decide to give this a try! Hopefully I've given you an idea of how to do it.

I just have to think that no matter what exercise program you implemented, if you are doing anything aerobic for approx. 30 minutes a day and drinking lots of water and walking more than before, due to the laws of nature, you're going to see a difference.
Good for you for trying to get healthy and in better shape. I say it's a lifestyle change 'cause you have to maintain it if you want to stay looking that way.

Looks very interesting...I will have to look into it. First I have to commit myself to even doing the thing.

To answer your question about watermarks, I made mine into a brush in photoshop and then I just stamp it on the picture. Do you have photoshop? If so I can tell you how to do it, if you don't then although I know it's possible in lots of programs, I don't personally know how to do it. :)

body flex sounds great and i'd love to go down a size or 2 by real summer! i love hearing the different techniques people find successful for them in losing weight...it makes it hard to really choose one to commit to, but this looks like a great plan!
keep up the good work!
