SPRING BREAK - DAY 1 and 2

We have been busy the past couple of days! Monday morning started with my 4 mile speed walk with Julie T. We planned to go to lunch at Panda Express with the kids. We met up after getting some things done at home and ordered for the motley crew. The weather was BEAUTIFUL, so we headed to Gene Autry Park. The kids ate and played for quite a while.

Then we came home and vegged out in front of the tv and played in the "hood" til dark.

Today started again with my walk with Julie and planned another fun day together. Stopping on the way at Wendy's for lunch, we headed to Golfland for some miniature golf. We used my free passes (I had 7, so we only had to pay for a couple of kids)! We played with 8 kids, 2 adults and a baby in a stroller - 2 rounds of 18 holes! It was crazy fun and I'm sure those around us had quite the show. The kids had a blast and it filled up quite the day!!

We're home now and the kids are scattered again. I'm enjoying the quiet for just a while. Spring Break has been fun and fulfilling so far!! How about you?!?!

Looks like lots of fun!

We don't get a spring break. We get an Easter Break which is Thursday and Friday...pretty dumb. But we'll do our best to make it worth it! :)

Looks like you all are having fun! Golf land looks like a blast. Maybe I will have to take my kids there as an end of the week outing:) I hear they are opening up the water slides pretty soon!!

We don't get out till Friday, Monday and Tuesday. When other schools are out all week I think to myself.."Aahh, we will be out of school a whole week before you!" We will be doing something fun, I hope! It better be warm here in cold Utah! Looks like you had lots of fun, though!

I'm so jealous that you have spring break with Easter! Bryan had his spring break last week and the kids don't have theirs until mid-april. Looks like so much fun! Love all the pictures.

Sounds like a lot of fun. We are only foster parents to the colored chicken, we picked them up for my brother-in-law. They sell them at a feed store in glendale, it was just a bonus that we were getting them at Easter when they sell them in fun colors.
Your kid are getting so big!

Everyday I feel so guilty if we don't spend sometime outside..the weather is so gorgeous right now and it won't be that way in a few short weeks! We need to soak it all in while we can! Enjoy the rest of your sprink break and HAPPY EASTER!

I didn't even think of Golfland as a way to entertain the trops. Well at least the older part of the gang. We have done the park but I took no pictures. Looks like you are having s great week
